ManufacturedHomes.com : A look back at last week’s Manufactured Housing Convention

We had a wonderful time during our stay in Kentucky at the Louisville Manufactured Housing Convention. We met some great folks, filmed some killer footage and received more constructive comments and feedback that we could possibly have hoped for. Thanks again to all our industry colleagues who took a few minutes of their time to share their thoughts on our product – you alone made the trip worth it!

One of our favorite parts of the 3 day event was exploring the convention floor with our camera crew and scoping out all the new models on display. The icing on the cake was the willingness of important industry leaders to take us on a tour through some of their beautiful homes while discussing their company and the exciting new features this year’s models have to offer.

One such gentleman was Rich Rice of Adventure Homes. When we approached him with a request for a simple, brief blurb about his company, he was more than happy to oblige and gave us more than we asked for when he took us on a tour of Adventure Homes’ new 2013 ‘Builder’s Choice’ model.

At 1,920 sq. ft, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the 2013 Builder’s Choice model offers plenty of room and living space for families ready to set down some roots. The model on display at the convention had some beautiful, eye-catching exterior features like the awesome 7/12 roof pitch, the gentle, muted green Vinyl siding, the wonderful synthetic stone-work around the spacious, weather treated wood deck leading to the front door and, really rounding out the outside of the model, the 2 dormers on the roof which gave this house the look and feel of a true American home.

And believe us, the interior really does the exterior justice.

Walking in, one is immediately struck by the open layout of the living room and the way in flows right into the kitchen and dining room area. The island, with optional seating, serves as a great place for cooking prep or an excellent space to entertain guests. All standard appliances are a sleek black that nicely accentuate the beautiful Merillat cabinetry. The piece de resistance, however, lies in the bathroom of the master bedroom. Calling it the ‘Shower Retreat’, Rich pointed out to us the gorgeous tiled shower, with a tiled bench and full glass front, the unique vessel sinks and more of the fine wood cabinetry.

After an awesome tour of a first class modular home, we wrapped up and were on our way.

We look forward to future collaboration with Adventure Homes.

Thanks Rich!

(stay tuned! Soon we’ll have the complete video of Rich and the Builder’s Choice home posted so you all can see exactly what we’re talking about)
